Obstetric medicine is the field of medicine that helps care for women who have medical illness during their pregnancy.
The International Society of Obstetric Medicine (ISOM) is an international society that brings together clinicians, educators and researchers working in the field of obstetric medicine to share their ideas, and experiences, to collaborate with one another and to stimulate one another in the pursuit of excellence for the patients we serve.
This interaction is aimed not only at not enhancing the professional development of the participating members, but has as its ultimate goal the enhancement of the care we provide to our patients whose pregnancy is complicated by medical disorders.
We encourage you to join us in our endeavours and to share our passion for this challenging field.
