The ObMed listerv offers a real-time email discussion tool for society members with clinical questions. The fees for this list are covered by these organizations and access is free to society members. You will only receive emails when a list member sends a query to the list. It is not active every day so we recommend you sign up and test the waters.
USE PROPER JUDGEMENT REGARDING CONTANT. RESPECT PATIENT PRIVACY AND DO NOT INCLUDE ANY SPECIFIC OR PROTECTED PATIENT HEALTH INFORMATION. THE SOCIETIES SIMPLY PROVIDE A TOOL FOR COMMUNICATION BUT ARE IN NO WAY RESPONSIBLE FOR SPECIFIC MEMBER CONTENT.

On the next screen follow instructions to Change your email address.

Login to your account (see FIGURE 1 above), scroll down and change to “Set Digest Mode”, scroll down and click the “Submit My Changes” button. This will send you about 1 email a day when a discussion is active.
If you go to the “Mail Delivery” option and check “Disabled” then you stay subscribed but will not receive any emails. You must scroll down and click the “Submit My Changes” button.
I’d recommend that rather than doing this you simply login and modify the frequency at which you receive emails by either a) disabling mail delivery or b) getting a daily digest. If you still want to unsubscribe Go to this link:https://mailman.listserve.com/listmanager/listinfo/obmeddiscussion (it’s the same one list above. Follow the instructions above FIGURE 1. On the next screen, scroll down, check the box next to “Yes I really want to unsubscribe” and click the “Unsubscribe” button.
